Wind Down After a Stressful Day With This 5-Minute Guided Evening Meditation

Fitness

You may have your own wind-down routine before bed: take a warm bath, drink a cup of herbal tea, read a book. Kassandra Reinhardt of Yoga with Kassandra suggests you do this five-minute guided meditation full of positive affirmations in the evening to “clear your mind and fully relax, getting into the best possible headspace to help promote sleep.” She also recommends tacking this meditation on to an evening yoga practice.

Some of the affirmations used in the video are, “I am grateful for my health,” “I did my best today and that’s enough,” “I feel calm, relaxed and grounded,” and “In this moment, all is well.” Let Reinhardt’s soothing voice and music lull you into a sense of calmness with this video, and you’ll be dozing off in no time.
